Introduction
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is hiring 4 Customer Service Representatives at the Entry or Senior level dependent upon candidate qualifications, in the Division of External Services.
These positions are headquartered in the DNR offices in Janesville, Milwaukee or Oshkosh, WI.
This recruitment may also be used to fill future similar positions .

Position Summary
These positions assist customers with questions, products and services related to hunting, fishing, trapping, and other natural resources related activities. The work involves the interpretation and application of state statutes, administrative rules, and department policies and procedures pertaining to recreational licensing and vehicle registration and titling. These positions focus on the customers' experiences, anticipates the customers' needs, and excels at surpassing customers' expectations, often using collaborative methods for service delivery.

Salary Information
Starting pay for the Entry level is $25.04 per hour (or $52,083.20 annually), in addition to excellent benefits. This position is included in the classification Natural Resources Customer Service Representative within Pay Schedule/Range 02-11.
Starting pay for the Senior level is $29.28 per hour (or $60,902.40 annually), in addition to excellent benefits. This position is included in the classification Natural Resources Customer Service Representative-Senior within Pay Schedule/Range 02-13.

This position is not represented by a collective bargaining unit. Pay on appointment will follow the provisions of the State of Wisconsin Compensation Plan.
Job Details
Background Checks: The Department of Natural Resources conducts criminal background checks on final applicants prior to job offer. Eligibility to work in United States: The Department of Natural Resources does not sponsor work visas at the time of hire or anytime during employment. Probation: A 12-month probationary period may be required.

Remote Work: Based on an assessment of the goals and work activities, this position may be eligible for remote work. Remote work approval is based on individual circumstances and is subject to supervisor approval and DNR remote work policies. Approval is subject to change without notice based on business needs. Employees with approved remote work arrangements are generally expected to work within the state of Wisconsin.
Work Hours: Between the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday
Travel: Infrequent statewide travel for meetings will be necessary, with possible limited travel to other service centers to meet staffing needs.
