As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting ethical and compassionate individual counseling sessions through secure video platforms, ensuring a therapeutic environment.
• Implementing evidence-based, solution-focused treatment modalities to facilitate effective therapy for clients.
• Creating tailored treatment plans based on comprehensive client assessments that address the specific mental health needs of each individual.
• Helping clients to gain insights into their emotions, experiences, and interpersonal relationships, fostering self-awareness and growth.
• Monitoring clients' progress throughout their treatment journeys and assisting them in building healthy coping strategies for managing life's challenges.

You will primarily work with stable, low-acuity adults presenting a spectrum of mental health needs. To be considered for this role, the following qualifications are required:

• A Master’s degree in a counseling-related discipline such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current state-issued mental health counseling license, allowing for independent practice without supervision. Specific credentials can include:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Psychologist
• No limited/provisional licenses or pending disciplinary actions.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, characterized by empathy and understanding.
• Strong computer literacy, with proficiency in video conferencing tools and electronic documentation systems.
• A reliable computer with webcam and audio capabilities, along with a dependable internet connection.

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in telehealth counseling, particularly with adult clients. Familiarity with solution-focused therapy approaches will also be considered an asset.
