Senior Backend Engineer Role
The Opportunity
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll design and build scalable backend systems for an AI-driven data platform. You’ll lead technical projects, handle large-scale data processing, and help shape system architecture and performance.
What You’ll Do
- Design and build backend systems and APIs
- Own projects from planning to deployment
- Collaborate across engineering, data, and product teams
- Support AI/ML model deployment and infrastructure
- Improve system reliability, scalability, and performance
- Implement security best practices
- Mentor engineers and uphold code quality standards
Who You Are
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience
- Strong Python skills and experience with large-scale systems
- Solid understanding of APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure
- Experience with distributed systems and data pipelines
- Focus on performance, scalability, and clean code
- Interest in AI/ML is a plus
Bonus
- Experience with LLMs, Docker/Kubernetes, or data visualization
