Job description

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Developer with 7–12 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and cloud data platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake, SQL, ETL/ELT, data modeling, and cloud-based data solutions, with the ability to design and deliver scalable, high-performance data pipelines.

Required Technical Skills
  • 7–12 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or database development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake data platform and architecture.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience developing complex queries, stored procedures, views, and database objects.
  • Strong experience with ETL/ELT development and data pipeline design.
  • Experience with Snowflake features including warehouses, databases, schemas, stages, streams, tasks, views, and data sharing.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, including dimensional modeling, fact/dimension tables, and schema design.
  • Experience integrating Snowflake with various source systems, APIs, databases, and cloud storage platforms.
  • Experience with at least one cloud platform, preferably AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong knowledge of data performance tuning, query optimization, and warehouse optimization.
  • Experience with data quality, validation, security, access controls, and governance.
  • Proficiency with Git and exposure to CI/CD and automated deployment processes.

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Snowflake data solutions.

  • Develop data models to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence requirements.
  • Optimize Snowflake queries, warehouses, storage, and workloads for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Implement Snowflake Streams and Tasks for incremental and automated data processing.
  • Integrate Snowflake with enterprise data sources, cloud storage, and downstream applications.
  • Implement data quality checks, validation processes, and error-handling mechanisms.
  • Support data security, governance, access management, and compliance requirements.
  • Troubleshoot data pipeline, SQL, performance, and production issues.
  • Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and data process specifications.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Architects, BI Developers, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders.
  • Support CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment of Snowflake objects and data pipelines.
