The Procurement & Pricing Manager is Innovatus’ final commercial quality-control gate before a formal quote is submitted to a prime contractor, customer, contracting office, or contract vehicle. This role does not technically validate the solution. It ensures that commercial, supplier, pricing, compliance, and execution issues are fully addressed before Innovatus makes a formal offer.

  • Identify BOM inconsistencies or missing components and return technical questions to the ISR, Account Executive, OEM, or other technical resource.
Supplier quotes, authorizations, and deal protection
  • Confirm that appropriate OEM and distributor quotes have been obtained.
  • Verify that supplier quotes remain valid for the expected quote-submission and award timeline.
  • Identify expired, stale, incomplete, or commercially risky quotes and direct the ISR to obtain refreshed OEM or distributor pricing.

  • Verify deal registrations, special pricing, channel protections, and associated expiration dates.
  • Confirm that registrations and authorizations are assigned to the correct Innovatus entity and opportunity.
Contract path and supply risk
  • Confirm that proposed products can be sold through the selected contract or acquisition path.
  • Work with the ISR and Account Executive to confirm the correct contractual customer or contract vehicle.
  • Review product availability, supplier inventory, lead times, lifecycle status, end-of-life risk, and anticipated pricing changes.

  • Obtain leadership approval for margin exceptions or strategic pricing.
  • Review pricing risk tied to supplier quote expiration, award timing, availability, and product lifecycle.
  • Confirm final customer-facing quote validity periods, assumptions, exclusions, delivery terms, and pricing caveats.
Quote release and handoff
  • Ensure the final quote includes required customer, contract, and supplier documentation.
  • Prepare and submit the approved quote to the customer, prime contractor, contracting office, or designated contract-vehicle portal.
  • Maintain the official final pricing and sourcing record.
  • Transition the awarded commercial package to Order Fulfillment.
Location
Remote, with the expectation that the person is based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
