Job Summary

While this is a remote position, we require the person to be based in the Central or Eastern Time zone.
Summary
As a Software Account Executive (AE) on our Inspection & Real Estate team, you'll sell software that helps home inspectors run and grow their businesses.
You'll manage the full sales cycle, from generating leads to running live product demos and turning prospects into long-term customers, with primary responsibility for owning deals from first contact through close in a highvelocity SMB sales environment.
Your work directly supports small business owners by helping them save time, increase revenue, and simplify operations, while contributing to the team's overall revenue growth and customer adoption goals.
This role is well suited for a consultative seller who enjoys building relationships, understanding customer workflows, and translating business needs into clear, compelling solutions.
You'll work closely with crossfunctional partners and be accountable for meeting individual sales targets while delivering a strong customer experience.

What You Will Do As An Account Executive:
- Connect with potential customers through outbound calls and inbound leads, learning how to confidently introduce products and start meaningful conversations with small business owners
- Learn to understand customer needs and identify sales opportunities, with training and support to help you ask great questions and uncover what matters most to each customer
- Host live product demos via screenshare to walk inspectors through workflows, starting with structured demo enablement and growing your ability to tailor conversations over time
- Explain product features clearly and thoughtfully, building skills in consultative selling and customerfocused storytelling
- Develop a strong understanding of the home inspection industry and how inspectors operate their businesses, gaining industry knowledge that will help you build credibility and longterm relationships
- Identify opportunities to introduce additional products and services, with guidance on how to recommend solutions that genuinely support customer success
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity and deal notes in Salesforce, learning how to manage your work, stay organized, and track progress using industrystandard sales tool
- Collaborate closely with teammates across Marketing, Sales, Account Management, Analytics, and Operations, learning how crossfunctional teams work together to deliver great customer experiences
- Occasionally attend industry conferences or events alongside teammates, providing exposure to customers, partners, and realworld sales environments
- Work toward clearly defined sales goals and metrics, with regular coaching, feedback, and support to help you build confidence, track progress, and continuously improve
What You Will Bring As An Account Executive:
- 4+ years of sales experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience with outbound sales or prospecting, ideally with SMB customers
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable learning and quickly adopting new software tools
- Coachable, curious, and motivated by solving problems for small business owners
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Self-starter with a track record of success in a fast-paced remote work environment

What You Will Get As A Porch Group Team Member
Pay Range*: $54,000.00 - $75,600.00 Annually
*Please know your actual pay at Porch will reflect a number of factors among which are your work experience and skillsets, job-related knowledge, alignment with market and our Porch employees, as well as your geographic location.
You will also be eligible to receive sales incentives, subject to program guidelines and approvals.
