Your responsibilities as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will include:

• Conducting detailed assessments of clients' emotional and psychological health to identify underlying issues affecting their relationships.
• Providing weekly therapeutic sessions to families and couples, focusing on areas such as divorce, custody issues, mental illness, financial stress, and trauma recovery.
• Empowering clients by equipping them with personalized coping strategies and tools to effectively manage daily conflicts and enhance their relationship dynamics.
• Maintaining a caseload of clients, developing individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique situations and therapeutic needs.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and school counselors, to establish comprehensive treatment options.
• Conducting evaluations during court-mandated sessions, offering professional recommendations regarding custody and family dynamics.
• Linking clients to additional community resources, such as financial assistance programs and housing services, to support their overall well-being.

To succeed in this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Possess a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
