What is a remote curriculum reviewer?

A Remote Curriculum Reviewer is an education professional who evaluates and provides feedback on curriculum materials, lesson plans, or educational resources from a remote location. Their role typically involves ensuring that content meets educational standards, is accurate, and is appropriate for the intended audience. Remote Curriculum Reviewers may also suggest improvements to enhance learning outcomes and align resources with specific learning objectives. They often work for educational publishers, online learning platforms, or school districts. This position requires strong subject matter expertise and excellent attention to detail.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote curriculum reviewer?

To thrive as a Remote Curriculum Reviewer, you need expertise in instructional design, subject matter knowledge, and experience in curriculum development or education, often supported by a relevant degree or teaching certification. Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), digital editing tools, and standard curriculum frameworks is typically required. Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and clear written communication are vital soft skills for providing constructive feedback and ensuring content quality. These skills ensure that educational materials are accurate, engaging, and meet institutional or industry standards, which is crucial for effective learning outcomes.

What are some common challenges faced by remote curriculum reviewers, and how can they be overcome?

Remote Curriculum Reviewers often face challenges such as maintaining clear communication with content developers and ensuring consistency across materials without in-person collaboration. To overcome these, it's important to establish regular virtual meetings, use collaborative tools for real-time feedback, and set clear review guidelines. Adhering to a structured review process can also help maintain high quality and alignment with educational standards, even when working asynchronously.

Job description

Why Charlie Health?

Millions of people across the country are navigating mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and eating disorders, but too often, they're met with barriers to care. From limited local options and long wait times to treatment that lacks personalization, behavioral healthcare can leave people feeling unseen and unsupported.

Charlie Health exists to change that. Our mission is to connect the world to life-saving behavioral health treatment. We deliver personalized, virtual care rooted in connection—between clients and clinicians, care teams, loved ones, and the communities that support them. By focusing on people with complex needs, we're expanding access to meaningful care and driving better outcomes from the comfort of home.

As a rapidly growing organization, we're reaching more communities every day and building a team that's redefining what behavioral health treatment can look like. If you're ready to use your skills to drive lasting change and help more people access the care they deserve, we'd love to meet you.

About the Role

We are seeking dedicated Master's-level professionals to join our Oregon Clinical Cohort. This is a full-time (W-2), fully remote telehealth position designed for clinicians looking to become experts in high-impact group facilitation.

As a Mental Health Group Specialist, you will begin making a difference on day one, working alongside a highly skilled therapy team to deliver psychoeducation, enabling meaningful, real-world change for clients. This role focuses on Group Mastery; you will lead transformative sessions for clients facing complex behavioral and emotional challenges while enjoying the stability of a salaried position and a fixed schedule.

Please Note: This role focuses on psychoeducational and skill building facilitation. If you are registered as a CSWA, such hours may be eligible towards your independent licensure, at the discretion of the Board of Licensed Social Workers.

For Professional Counselor Associates and MFT Associates: While these hours may not currently count toward clinical licensure in Oregon, the position offers a premium salary and a stable career path for Master's-level professionals or QMHPs looking to gain specialized experience in a high-growth clinical environment.
