Help Business Owners Win Bigger Exits While Building a High-Income, Flexible Consulting Career

If you have ever wanted to sit at the table with business owners, help them make smarter decisions, increase the value of what they have built, and get paid well for real impact, this is that seat.

Exit Factor is expanding its elite consulting team in Texas. We are looking for experienced, business-minded professionals who want flexibility, leverage, and meaningful work, not another grind-it-out role.

This is not coaching for motivation.

This is consulting for outcomes: profit, efficiency, and business value.

What is Exit Factor?

We are a business consulting firm. Our passion is helping small to medium-sized businesses increase their profit, efficiency, and the value of their business to prepare for the sale of the company in the future. We do this through business valuations, 1:1 consulting, and online programs. We work with companies between $0 - $30 million in revenue across the United States in various industries.

We are a small team of entrepreneurs ourselves but are part of a large global system. We have the feel of a small business with the resources of a multinational company.

What the Job Is:

Our Business Consultants work with small to medium-sized business owners to help them increase their companies' profit, efficiency, and value. Our consultants engage with new leads, convert them to clients, and work with those clients in 1:1 sessions based on our proprietary method and system. We have a full training and certification program in our proprietary valuation and consulting model. We provide house leads and an automation/nurture system to support your pipeline, though building your own referral network through local business development is a key driver of success in this role.

A career with our firm allows you to assist small to medium-sized business owners in preparing their companies for sale by increasing the value of their businesses. In this position, you will have the chance to interact with numerous businesses across hundreds of industries, gaining knowledge and learning not accessible in most positions.

Day to Day responsibilities include:

  • Networking with referral partners and business owners to foster business development (Chamber events, coffee chats, lunch, etc.)
  • Conducting 1:1 consulting sessions using our proprietary VORTEx model.
  • Providing value-added resources to our online curriculum to enhance client work.
  • Participating in ongoing training and continuing education.

Why Join Now?

  • Exit Factor was founded by one of the leading industry experts in M&A and exit strategy. We have now expanded to a national franchise with more than 30 locations across 18 states.
  • The exit planning market has never been better, with 75% of business owners transitioning in the next 10 years creating a domestic market for exit planning services of $92 billion.
  • A career with ultimate flexibility: design your schedule and work remotely.
  • The support and resources of a large-scale global company with a small business and family feel.
  • Mentorship and resources from the top professionals in the country with a corporate team for support.
  • Working with industry leaders with a true entrepreneurial spirit and growth mindset.
  • Ability to expand and contract your work as necessary: scale from micro to full-time hours.

Think you have what it takes? Our ideal candidate:

  • Preferred related experience: personal experience with a business exit or sale, previous experience with business consulting/coaching, related exit strategy/M&A experience, or 5+ years of senior leadership experience
  • Computer proficiency is required, including conducting Zoom presentation meetings.
  • Some experience in a customer-facing role or a love for customer interaction.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication with particularly strong phone skills.
  • Enthusiasm for entrepreneurship and business.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: a proactive, driven, strong desire to succeed, competitive, committed to accomplishing objectives, opportunistic.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of the following technology systems or ability to figure it out: Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, Zoom.
