Remote Cruise information

Can you work remotely for Royal Caribbean?

Remote cruise jobs are generally limited, as many roles require on-site presence or work aboard ships. Some customer service or administrative positions may offer remote work options, but most cruise line jobs involve working on ships or at port locations. Candidates should review specific job postings for remote work eligibility and requirements.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Remote Cruise position, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Cruise Consultant, you need strong sales skills, in-depth knowledge of cruise lines and destinations, and experience in the travel industry. Familiarity with reservation platforms (like Sabre or Amadeus), cruise booking engines, and relevant certifications such as CLIA accreditation are advantageous. Excellent communication, organizational abilities, and customer service skills help set candidates apart. These skills are essential for providing seamless, efficient vacation planning for clients and maintaining high customer satisfaction while working remotely.

What are the typical daily responsibilities for someone working as a Remote Cruise Consultant?

As a Remote Cruise Consultant, your daily responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries about cruise options, making reservations, processing payments, and assisting with trip customization or problem solving. You’ll regularly use booking and CRM software to manage client accounts and maintain detailed records. Collaboration with other travel professionals and suppliers is also common to ensure clients receive the best deals and experiences. A strong focus on proactive communication and follow-up helps you build lasting client relationships, and stay updated on new itineraries and promotions.

What is a Remote Cruise job?

A Remote Cruise job typically involves working for a cruise-related company in a remote capacity, meaning you don't need to be physically onboard a ship. Roles may include customer service, sales, travel planning, marketing, or administrative support. These jobs allow individuals to assist cruise passengers, book trips, or manage operations from home. Employers often seek candidates with strong communication skills and experience in the travel or hospitality industry.

How to make 2000 a week working from home?

Remote cruise jobs typically do not pay $2000 weekly; earning such an amount from home often requires high-paying roles like freelance consulting, sales, or specialized customer service, which may involve building skills, certifications, and a strong client base. Success depends on experience, industry demand, and the ability to secure multiple clients or contracts simultaneously.

Do any cruise lines offer remote work?

Some cruise lines offer remote work opportunities for certain roles, especially in customer service, sales, or administrative positions that can be performed onboard or remotely. These jobs often require strong communication skills, internet access, and flexibility with schedules, but availability varies by company and position.

Job description

Forbes Travel Guide is seeking a detail-oriented Integration Specialist to support our Salesforce ecosystem by managing and optimizing integrations between Salesforce and external platforms. This role focuses on building, configuring, testing and maintaining Salesforce-connected forms and digital experience workflows that support partner engagement and operational processes across the organization.
The ideal candidate has strong experience working with Salesforce-integrated forms and digital experience platforms such as Titan Web, understands Salesforce data structures and declarative configuration, and is comfortable managing integrations that involve APIs, webhooks and middleware such as Workato.
This role is not a developer position and does not require Apex coding. Instead, the Integration Specialist will leverage Salesforce declarative tools and integration platforms to ensure reliable data flow, form functionality, and system connectivity across the FTG technology ecosystem.
FTG is the global authority on hospitality excellence. Known for our prestigious annual Star Ratings awarded to hotels, restaurants, spas, and cruise ships in more than 100 countries, we also provide professional services such as training, custom standards, inspections, verification programs and consulting for luxury hospitality and other businesses that prioritize guest/customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Build, configure, and maintain Salesforce-integrated forms and workflows, including platforms such as Titan, to support lead capture, operational processes, and partner interactions
• Manage and test integrations between Salesforce and external platforms, ensuring accurate data flow and reliable system connectivity
• Configure and maintain webhooks, middleware integrations, and automation workflows using platforms such as Workato
• Support the implementation and optimization of digital experience platforms connected to Salesforce, ensuring seamless user experiences and clean data capture
• Maintain Salesforce data hygiene by monitoring incoming data from forms and integrations, identifying duplicates or inconsistencies, and supporting processes that ensure accurate and reliable CRM data
• Perform integration testing, troubleshooting and QA to validate form submissions, API connections, and downstream automation
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, and technology teams to ensure integrations align with business requirements
• Monitor integration performance, identify issues proactively, and implement improvements to enhance system reliability
• Maintain documentation for integrations, workflows, and system dependencies to support operational continuity
Qualifications
• Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator certification (Required)
• 3+ years of experience working within the Salesforce ecosystem
• Demonstrated experience implementing and managing Salesforce-integrated forms platforms (Titan experience strongly preferred)
• Experience working with webhooks, APIs, and middleware platforms such as Workato or similar integration tools
• Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM data structures, objects, and Flow Builder
• Proven ability to troubleshoot integration issues and perform structured testing across connected systems
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote team environment
Nice-to-Have Skills
• Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator II and/or Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder certifications
• Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or marketing automation workflows
• Experience supporting lead capture workflows or marketing technology stacks integrated with Salesforce
• Experience documenting system architecture or integration workflows
