Wise Mind Psychotherapy Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team. In this full-time position based in Virginia Beach, Virginia, you will primarily serve clients in a hospice care setting, delivering integrated mental health support to individuals experiencing severe emotional disorders and major mental illnesses. • Provide clinical assessment and deliver a variety of evidence-based intervention strategies to clients facing significant emotional or mental health issues.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, create integrated care plans, and facilitate access to necessary services for clients and their families.
• Actively participate in team meetings and case reviews, contributing your insights to improve overall treatment outcomes.
• Engage in crisis intervention efforts as needed, ensuring that all client interactions are handled with empathy and professionalism.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, care plans, and progress notes according to regulatory and ethical standards.
• Carry a manageable caseload and ensure that treatment services align with clients’ presenting issues and personal goals.
• Monitor client statuses, including admissions, ongoing assessments, and discharge processes, providing thorough follow-up care where necessary.
• Conduct brief screenings to identify clients' needs and facilitate further assessments when indicated, in line with organizational protocols.
• Support continuous learning and professional development by actively seeking feedback and participating in training opportunities.

In this role, you will primarily work with clients in a hospice care setting, focusing on those who experience complex emotional and mental health challenges associated with terminal illness and the end-of-life process. Your work will involve enhancing the quality of life for patients and supporting their families, emphasizing dignity, respect, and empowerment throughout the care process.

• Must possess a current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably with a focus on hospice or palliative care.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health diagnoses, treatment methodologies, and ethical guidelines applicable to clinical social work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to connect with diverse patient populations.

• Experience in hospice or palliative care settings, dealing with end-of-life issues and providing grief support to families.
• Familiarity with integrated care approaches and multi-disciplinary team collaboration within health care environments.
• Proficiency in telehealth tools and electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate remote service delivery.

Wise Mind Psychotherapy Services offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 85,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
