• Engage actively with clients experiencing major mental illnesses or severe emotional disorders, conducting thorough assessments and evaluations.
• Create and implement individualized integrated care plans that align with clients' unique needs, ensuring seamless access to additional support services.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to conduct appropriate screenings and facilitate access to further assessments when necessary.
• Provide a range of therapeutic interventions—including individual, group, and family therapy—that foster healing and recovery.
• Monitor and maintain a structured case load, ensuring timely documentation and comprehensive reporting in line with organizational standards.
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, assessing safety concerns and supporting clients during critical moments.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, sharing insights that contribute to collaborative care approaches and improved patient outcomes.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in social work techniques, attending professional development workshops and training sessions as required.

Your primary focus will be on clients facing significant mental health challenges within a hospice context. This role requires sensitivity and flexibility as you navigate the complex emotional landscapes of patients who may be dealing with end-of-life issues, offering support that respects their dignity, preferences, and cultural backgrounds.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field is mandatory.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Kansas.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience, especially in settings that serve underprivileged communities or in hospice care is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with diverse populations, fostering an environment of trust and openness.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote setting.

• Experience working within hospice or end-of-life care settings.
• Familiarity with various evidence-based treatment modalities for mental health disorders.
• Understanding of local resources and social services available to patients and their families in Kansas.
• Prior experience with telehealth practices and digital mental health management tools.

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
