As a Crisis Specialist, you'll be the first voice of support for individuals reaching out for help. Your Responsibilities:

  • Screen & Triage: Use your keen insight to assess and guide crisis interventions, utilizing our risk assessment tool to ensure safety and effective resolutions.

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of a GED/High School diploma and four (4) years of full-time behavioral health work experience.
  • Alternatively, a combination of education and experience will be considered (Master's degree / Bachelor's degree + 1 year BH experience / Associate degree + 2 years BH experience).
  • Education Specifications: Behavioral health or substance use fields
  • Experience Specifications: Mental health or substance use field managing high-risk, high-acuity, or crisis patients or members is required
    • Experience as a behavioral or mental health professional, crisis intervention, and contact center experience preferred.

Working Conditions:

While performing the job duties in the office or at a home office, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands; they must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
