The Hillside Behavioral Health Center is seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team remotely. In this vital role, you will provide therapeutic services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. This position is fully remote, allowing you to provide high-quality mental health support while working from the comfort of your own space. • Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health conditions to accurately diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities to deliver services including individual therapy, group therapy, and family counseling.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients in acute distress, employing skills to de-escalate and manage emergent situations effectively.
• Keep precise and confidential documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in line with ethical guidelines and legal requirements.
• Engage in collaborative case management by partnering with psychiatrists, social workers, and other health professionals to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Actively educate clients and families about mental health matters, treatment options, and available community resources, advocating for client needs as necessary.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest therapeutic practices, enhancing overall service delivery.

Your clients will span a diverse demographic spectrum, encompassing individuals from a variety of backgrounds and with a range of mental health challenges. • Must hold an active license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) in Washington state.
• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
• Demonstrated competency in clinical assessment and diagnostic skills is essential.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are vital for effective client relationships.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team framework.
• A commitment to the highest ethical standards and ongoing professional development.

• Experience with teletherapy platforms and remote counseling practices is highly advantageous.
• Prior experience in a diverse clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
