• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify their social, emotional, and environmental challenges, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their individual situations.
• Develop tailored service plans that include specific goals, recommended interventions, and ongoing progress monitoring to guide clients through their therapeutic journey.
• Provide individual and family counseling, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques that promote healing and resilience.
• Collaborate closely with clients to create personalized service plans and connect them with essential community resources, enhancing their support systems.
• Offer crisis intervention and conduct risk assessments when necessary, ensuring safety and providing immediate support to clients in acute distress.
• Engage with community agencies to coordinate services effectively and advocate for clients’ needs, enhancing their access to broader support initiatives.
• Participate actively in community outreach efforts to raise awareness of available services and strengthen connections with the local population.
• Contribute to team meetings, engage in case conferences, and participate in ongoing professional training to maintain the highest standards of practice.

The clients you will work with at Life Line Counseling are diverse and include individuals and families dealing with complex issues such as substance use disorders, mental health struggles, trauma, and socio-economic hardships. Your role will involve providing culturally competent services, ensuring that you consider the varied backgrounds and experiences of each client to foster a supportive therapeutic environment.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, providing the foundational knowledge required for effective practice.
• Current active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.
• Strong understanding of social justice issues, trauma-informed approaches, and community resources relevant to client needs.
• Exceptional communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to effectively problem-solve in diverse scenarios.
