• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' social, emotional, and environmental challenges utilizing evidence-based practices to inform care strategies.
• Collaborate with clients to create individualized service plans encompassing specific goals, interventions, and regular progress monitoring to ensure effective treatment.
• Provide direct counseling and therapeutic support to individuals and families facing life challenges, helping them explore emotional and behavioral strategies for improvement.
• Implement crisis intervention techniques, making risk assessments and developing safety plans during critical situations.
• Engage in outreach activities to promote the agency's services, ensuring that marginalized populations are aware of available support options.
• Facilitate partnerships with community organizations, coordinating services and advocating passionately for client needs.
• Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing professional development workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.

You will work primarily with vulnerable populations dealing with complex social and emotional challenges. This includes individuals experiencing substance use disorders, mental health issues, domestic violence situations, and those who are homeless or living in poverty. Your role will involve empowering clients to navigate their circumstances and access the necessary resources, fostering resilience, and improving their overall quality of life.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is crucial for this position.
• Strong understanding of social and economic justice issues and the ability to apply trauma-informed care principles in practice.
• Excellent communication and cultural competence to engage effectively with diverse individuals and families.

• Prior experience in a social service agency or a similar healthcare setting is highly desirable.
