• Conduct thorough crisis assessments for individuals experiencing acute mental health distress, ensuring timely and accurate interventions.
• Provide immediate counseling services to clients in crisis, employing evidence-based practices and techniques.
• Work closely with law enforcement and emergency response personnel to protect client safety and facilitate interventions when necessary.

You will work predominantly with individuals dealing with substance use disorders, providing specialized support for clients facing immediate mental health crises. This includes trauma intervention and strategies for emotional crisis management. Your empathetic and culturally sensitive approach will be essential in building therapeutic relationships that foster trust and healing.

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) designation.
• A minimum of three years of direct experience in crisis intervention and mental health counseling.

• Proficiency in delivering effective counseling services to clients in immediate mental health crises.
