Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapeutic plans tailored to each client's needs.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy, to provide effective treatments to individuals, families, and groups.
  • Maintain meticulous clinical records compliant with legal and ethical standards while documenting therapy sessions, progress, and treatment plans.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to enhance the overall care and outcomes for clients, participating in regular team meetings for case consultations and strategy discussions.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training sessions to stay abreast of the latest mental health research and best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Our focus is on providing exceptional care to individuals and families with limited access to traditional mental health resources. The position allows for a meaningful impact on the lives of clients, enabling them to achieve stability and wellness.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.
  • A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, specifically in a clinical setting.
  • Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards pertaining to counseling practices.
  • Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and related technologies for documentation and client management.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in specialized areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish trusting relationships with clients from varied cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
  • Proven collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary healthcare team environment.
