Blue Sphere Counseling LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) for a full-time remote position based in Rochester, New York. This position is primarily remote, allowing counselors to provide care through Telehealth, a convenient and safe medium for therapy delivery. Our practice operates from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week, ensuring flexibility for both our clients and staff. You will be equipped with the necessary technology and resources to deliver effective counseling while avoiding the complexities of traditional in-person practices.

As an LPCC, your role encompasses a range of essential responsibilities, including:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to gain a thorough understanding of patients' histories and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental health improvement.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process traumatic experiences, cultivate coping strategies, and promote overall healing.
• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
• Providing crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies and offering support to clients and their families.
• Maintaining accurate documentation to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participating in case consultations and team meetings to enhance service delivery and personal development.
• Engaging in continuous learning to stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, non-judgmental approach are necessary for effective client engagement.
