We'relooking for a VP-Commercial Loan Officer to join our award-winning commercial lending team and diversify our commercial real estate concentration with spec house and residential development lending.You willestablishrelationships with businesses inAmplify'sservice area for the purpose of making commercial loans while consistently offering outstanding member service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and manages relationships with existing and prospective business members to drive new business,retainexisting relationships, and grow commercial loan and deposit portfolios, with a focus onspechome and residential development lending.
  • Maintains and manages a portfolio of business relationships to achieve production goals, deliveran exceptionalmember experience, andidentifycross-sell opportunities while ensuring portfolio quality and soundness.
  • Leads andparticipatesin business development efforts through member engagement, community involvement, and industry partnerships, including collaboration with third-party vendors to support business services.
  • Evaluates, structures, and processes commercial loan requests by interviewing applicants, analyzing financials, credit and collateral, and coordinating with credit analysts to assess risk and feasibility.
  • Ensure all lending activitiescomply withinternal policies and applicable NCUA and Texas regulations,utilizingrisk analysis and credit review processes tomonitorloan quality.
  • Provides financial guidance and advisory support to business members and prospective clients based on a strong understanding of market conditions, economic trends, and industry performance.
  • Managespost-closing responsibilities, including site visits, collateral inspections, and ongoing monitoring, and supports collection efforts in partnership with Account Resolutions as needed.
  • Direct industry experience lending to Spec-House Builders or Residential Developers.
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university;five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of three years credit union or other financial industry experience.
  • Extensive knowledge and proventrack recordof commercial lending.
  • Must be bondable.
  • Be efficient with the use of a personal computer, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), Credit BureauSystemsand financial calculators.
  • Must have reliable internet access of 50MBPSwhich is the minimum speedrequiredto connect to several of our systems and platforms.

Starting Pay & Benefits
