This role is designed for a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility while maintaining strong connections with the clinic's multidisciplinary team through virtual meetings and consultations. • Conduct evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients.
• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans, focusing on their specific psychological needs and life circumstances.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.
• Provide education and resources to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment methodologies, and effective self-care strategies.
• Regularly track and assess client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans in response to their evolving needs.
• Work in tandem with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive treatment approaches.
• Stay informed regarding the latest research and clinical practices in mood disorders to enhance therapeutic interventions and client outcomes.
• Ensure all client documentation is accurate, confidential, and adheres to established legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in weekly case consultations and team meetings to discuss client progress and refine therapeutic strategies.
• Advocate for clients by promoting awareness of mood disorders and supporting their mental health needs within the community.

Our clients include individuals from various backgrounds grappling with mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related illnesses. Each client is treated with respect and understanding, with a focus on delivering tailored care that reflects their unique situations and aspirations. The ability to establish rapport with clients and their families is essential for fostering trust and encouraging active participation in the therapeutic process.

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Currently licensed as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Georgia.
• Two years of relevant post-licensure experience in treating mood disorders is preferred.

• Demonstrable expertise in therapeutic modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
• Strong comprehension of psychopharmacology to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists in managing treatment.
• A proven record of successful outcomes in treating mood disorders, supported by client testimonials or performance metrics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on building rapport and trust with diverse client populations.
