People Operations & Credentialing Manager

Greenbrook Medical

Tampa, FL • Remote

Full-time

Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement, PTO

Job description

About Us

Greenbrook Medical is building the new standard in primary care.

We deliver high-touch, relationship-based care through neighborhood clinics, grounded in a simple belief: every senior deserves the kind of care we would want for our own families. Our model prioritizes time with patients, strong care coordination, and a personalized approach that improves outcomes while lowering total cost of care.

We take full accountability for patient outcomes and overall cost of care, aligning clinical excellence with disciplined execution. That commitment shows up in our results, including a patient Net Promoter Score of 91, compared to 32 for typical healthcare organizations.

Rooted in Tampa Bay and partnered with Tampa General Hospital, we are entering an exciting phase of growth. Backed by strong unit economics, experienced operators, and a proven playbook, we are looking for builders and operators who want to help scale a healthcare platform designed to deliver better care, better coordination, and better outcomes for seniors.

About the Role

As Greenbrook grows, every new team member needs to be ready to do their best work on day one, and every physician needs to be credentialed quickly, accurately, and without things falling through the cracks.

As our People Operations & Credentialing Manager, you'll own the operational engine behind both.

You'll run every operational detail of our employee onboarding and offboarding experience, from ordering laptops and creating accounts to coordinating system access, tracking progress, and ensuring every teammate is fully operational on day one. You'll also own physician credentialing, licensing, payer enrollment, and malpractice administration, ensuring our providers are compliant and ready to care for patients.

This is a builder role. You'll create scalable systems, improve processes, partner across the People, Revenue Cycle, Clinical Care and Clinical Operations teams, and become the go-to person for operational execution.

If you love creating order, obsess over details, and enjoy building systems that make everyone else's job easier, you'll thrive here.

Location: Remote, with occasional travel to our clinics in the Greater Tampa Bay area

What You'll Do

Set Every Team Member Up for Success

You'll make sure every employee has what they need before they ever walk through the door.

  • Own onboarding operations from accepted offer through first day.
  • Create and manage onboarding workflows in Monday.com, our project management tool.
  • Provision accounts across Google Workspace, Slack, EMRs, HRIS, and other business systems.
  • Coordinate laptop, phone, and equipment ordering with our technology partner.
  • Track onboarding progress and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Own the offboarding process, including account deactivation, DocuSign separation documents, shipping labels, and equipment recovery.

Own Technology Operations

You'll be the primary point of contact between Greenbrook and our managed IT partner.

  • Coordinate all technology requests, new equipment orders, troubleshooting, replacements, and inventory.
  • Track company hardware and software access across the organization.
  • Ensure employees receive the right equipment and system access on time.
  • Continuously improve technology onboarding processes as we scale.

Own Physician Credentialing

You'll ensure our physicians are credentialed quickly, accurately, and remain compliant.

  • Manage payer credentialing, re-credentialing, and provider enrollments.
  • Maintain CAQH, PECOS, I&A, and payer portals.
  • Coordinate hospital privileges and delegated credentialing files.
  • Support physician licensing, DEA registrations, and malpractice insurance administration.
  • Maintain provider records, renewals, and compliance documentation.

Build Better Systems

You'll improve the way this work gets done.

  • Create scalable workflows, SOPs, templates, and documentation.
  • Track KPIs across onboarding, credentialing, and operational readiness.
  • Identify bottlenecks and continuously improve speed, quality, and consistency.
  • Partner across People, Finance, Clinical Care, Clinical Operations, and Revenue Operations to ensure seamless execution.

What Success Looks Like

  • Every new hire is fully equipped and system-ready on Day 1.
  • Offboarding is completed accurately, securely, and on time.
  • Average physician credentialing is completed within 45 days.
  • 100% of licenses, malpractice coverage, and re-credentialing remain current.
  • Technology requests are completed quickly with clear communication.
  • Onboarding and credentialing processes continue to become faster, simpler, and more scalable as Greenbrook grows.

About You

You bring:

  • 4+ years of experience in credentialing, people operations, onboarding, HR operations, or a similarly complex operational role.
  • Experience managing physician credentialing, payer enrollment, licensing, or provider compliance.
  • Experience coordinating multi-system onboarding and offboarding for employees.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities while keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Comfort working across numerous systems and learning new technology quickly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A builder mindset with the ability to create processes where none exist.

You'll stand out if you:

  • Have experience overseeing credentialing and other people operations workflows in a high-growth, technology-enabled environment, with familiarity with CAQH, PECOS, I&A, Monday.com, DocuSign, Google Workspace, Slack, and/or EMRs.
  • Have coordinated technology provisioning and equipment management with an external IT partner.
  • Have managed physician credentialing in an MSO, health system, or value-based care environment.
  • Have built onboarding or credentialing workflows that improved speed, consistency, or employee experience.
  • Thrive in a fast-growing company where you enjoy building systems that scale.
