Position Summary

J. J. Keller has a Verification Specialist opening in one of our fastest growing departments called Managed Services. This department is comprised of fleet and regulatory compliance experts who clients rely on to off-load the time consuming / complex tasks of managing driver safety and vehicle compliance. As a Verification Specialist you will be responsible for processing client requests for various different background checks.

This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule for employees residing within 40 miles of our Corporate Campus in Neenah, WI, or a remote schedule for those located elsewhere in Wisconsin.

Job Responsibilities
  • Processes client requested orders for background checks, Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs), Safety Performance History (SPHRR) as well as other Driver Qualification (DQ) and Drug & Alcohol (D&A) forms.
  • Identifies discrepancies, checks systems for pertinent information, and enters information into applicable systems.
  • Works directly with vendors via phone and email to facilitate document orders in a timely manner. Trouble-shoots vendor processing errors as appropriate.
  • Monitors workload and document processing to ensure orders are completed within established turnaround times.  
  • Works with Compliance Specialists and Service Operations Specialists to obtain and/or validate client information. Updates information in all applicable systems.
  • Assists coworkers with questions on processes related to obtaining documents and vendor functions. Maintains accurate process documentation.
  • Maintains knowledge of the applicable local, state, and federal regulations that pertain to our service offerings.
  • Maintains confidentiality of client information under the FCRA, HIPAA, and other regulatory entities. Adheres to the department's data security policies pertaining to Personal Identification Information.
  • Performs other support duties as assigned. 
Qualifications

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a general office setting.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment a plus.
  • Will consider post-secondary education in lieu of experience..

Education:

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).

Other Skills/Qualifications:

  • Must be proficient in the use of a PC and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Ability to effectively learn and utilize multiple software applications and websites.
  • Desire to meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
  • Strong detail orientation.
Physical Requirements

Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time.
