Your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor will be multifaceted, encompassing the following responsibilities:

• Engage directly with clients during teletherapy sessions to collaboratively establish and track their treatment goals.
• Provide prevention-oriented therapy to promote mental wellness proactively, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Work closely with various treatment providers and placement agencies to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate client documentation and session notes in a timely manner using our practice management system.
• Participate actively in monthly staff meetings and training sessions that foster professional development and team cohesion.
• Contribute positively to the overall culture and environment of the clinic through engagement, support, and collaboration.

The clients you will serve range broadly in terms of age, background, and mental health needs. You will work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona.
• A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related mental health field.
• A minimum of one year of related experience in mental health counseling or another relevant area.
• Proficiency in utilizing community mental health resources and services.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills necessary to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong leadership qualities with a commitment to collaboration.

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:

• Experience working in community health settings or with diverse populations.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Experience in developing group therapy sessions or workshops.
