  • Evaluate insurability by aligning proposed insureds with carriers and products that best support client objectives. Develop original solutions and alternatives, identify the circumstances in which each recommendation is most appropriate, and provide alternative illustrations when needed to strengthen the quality of the solutions presented.
  • Document each interaction in the CRM system and complete timely follow-up activities for every case. Identify new opportunities and take appropriate action to capitalize on them.
  • Make proactive outreach calls to follow up on meaningful revenue opportunities. Connect with top advisors to share relevant information and guidance, and identify new ways to support and grow their business.
  • Contribute as an effective team player by bringing complementary skills and sharing valuable ideas, perspectives, and feedback that strengthen the Case Design Team.
  • Attend carrier meetings, participate in conference calls and webinars, and collaborate with fellow Case Designers and other channels to stay current on carrier and industry developments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
  • Thorough knowledge of life insurance products, planning techniques, illustration platforms, and CRM systems.
  • Strong ability to serve as an internal sales resource for retail life products within key accounts, partnering as needed with the external sales team.
  • Skilled at identifying case elements that require special attention and recognizing opportunities that may lead advisors to solutions they might not have otherwise considered.
  • Industry experience that supports the ability to speak the advisor's language and understand the competitive landscape, product positioning, and key product details.
  • Ability to develop and maintain a strong understanding of DBS, our advisors, and our products, services, and approach, while building and sustaining strong relationships with internal and external clients, vendors, and industry organizations to further expand DBS's presence and influence within the industry.
Education and/or Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or professional training preferred.
  • Extensive experience providing sales desk support to agents in a BGA or home office environment.
  • Strong life insurance knowledge, preferably gained in a Case Design role or brokerage agency setting. Personal sales experience is not required but is considered a plus.
  • Experience with Winflex Web, Ensight, and Salesforce is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required
