Position Summary
Energizer Holdings is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead in-house creative projects supporting key marketing initiatives, new products and innovations through branded creative work including packaging, consumer communications, in-store, digital, and eCommerce solutions.
We are looking for someone who is organized with persuasive communication skills, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and complete. Having a proactive and self-starting nature is essential for success, and this person must be capable of working within a marketing-led organization as priorities will be driven by brand marketing strategy.
This person's main role will be to support the Global category brand marketing and creative teams by leading the strategic intake of creative projects within the in-house Creative Design team, drive client relationships, and manage execution of creative work through completion. Project scope will vary widely from large, long-lead, cross-functional product launches to fast, tight-turn requests.
Responsibilities will include the intake and review of project briefs, defining project deliverables and go-to-market timelines, resource management, and leading internal and external meetings with project stakeholders. This colleague will also support process improvement to continuously improve efficiencies as well as cost savings without sacrificing quality.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee workflow of projects through Creative Design team to ensure efficiency and high-quality deliverables
  • Manage the intake of creative requests, including eCommerce and new packaging development along with development of designs and artwork for new products in line with global designs and guidelines
  • Serve as point of contact, providing the day-to-day administration, coordination, and tracking of projects and deliverables and related communication to ensure progress
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Marketing leads to support business objectives across all creative projects
  • Review and approve client requests and project briefs, identify and address gaps, and establish and manage timing for all team assignments
  • Assess bandwidth of designers and provide regular oversight of creative resource allocation
  • With broad input, define and document best practices for project tools, templates, and workflows
  • Field, evaluate, and quickly respond to requests by defining project resource requirements and negotiating assignments with functional managers
  • Ensure clear prioritization of work across project stakeholders
  • Develop detailed project plans to track progress and oversee projects of all sizes and budgets from concept to completion
  • Ensure project feasibility and manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
  • Manage and resolve questions within project briefs at the project outset to ensure alignment across all stakeholders before project work begins
  • Communicate with stakeholders at all levels to lead kickoff meetings, project reviews, and ongoing project updates
  • Manage all aspects of creative production from project inception to completion
  • Serve as primary point of contact for business units, managing all project requests and communication
  • Work with all levels of internal business partners to answer project questions and manage expectations including communicating process changes or activities that could impact deliverables and timing
  • Navigate internal organizational structure to successfully meet business needs and project completion
  • Serve as liaison between internal business partners, internal creative agency, as well as external agencies
  • Identify risks and develop contingency plans to meet original commitment

What we are looking for
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-10 years' experience as a Project Manager, ideally leading teams and projects in an Agency or in-house creative team environment
  • Strong understanding of creative process, including print production, digital / eCommerce syndication, and/or product packaging development
  • Solid track record managing product, category, or brand projects in consumer goods industry
  • Excellent collaboration working effectively in a cross-functional matrix organization
  • Strong understanding of packaging and print workflow processes, scheduling, and trafficking
  • Strong customer service skills with a proven ability to deal directly with a variety of clients, needs, and competing priorities
  • Possess an expert knowledge of traditional creative deliverables, capabilities and processes
  • Proficient in Workfront, or similar project management software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Continuous improvement mindset

Total Rewards Package
The salary range for this position is USD $89,000.00/Yr. - USD $107,000.00/Yr.
Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
