• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the emotional, psychological, and social needs of students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and student goals, utilizing clinical tools and methodologies.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to promote positive mental health outcomes.
• Document all sessions and maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including educators and parents, to provide a cohesive and supportive environment for students.
• Educate students and families on mental health issues, coping strategies, and available resources to empower them throughout their treatment process.
• Remain up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents struggling with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges. You will have the unique opportunity to work closely with students in a school setting, understanding their individual circumstances, and ensuring that their emotional and psychological needs are met in a supportive and nurturing environment.

• A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• An active LCSW license in California is required.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in clinical settings, particularly with children and adolescents.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with students, families, and other professionals.
• Proficient in utilizing technology and remote counseling platforms for effective client interaction.

• Experience in school-based mental health programs is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of community resources and support services for mental health.
