Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality counseling services to clients through individual, family, and group therapy sessions, targeting emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Utilize our cloud-based EHR for effective management of patient records and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with insurance protocols.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans that foster positive outcomes.
• Facilitate evidence-based treatment programs focused on managing symptoms related to mental health disorders, trauma, and dual diagnoses.
• Ensure client safety and confidentiality at all times, creating a trusting and supportive therapeutic environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base consists of individuals experiencing a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and dual diagnosis. As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Polara, you will play a pivotal role in guiding these individuals through their challenges, helping them to achieve mental resilience and stability. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of three years of experience in mental health counseling.
• Proficient in using technology for telehealth counseling, including a reliable laptop or desktop, internet connection, and webcam.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain productivity while working remotely.
• Completion of a criminal background check is mandatory.
