This role is made possible by technological advancements in teleoperation and automation, allowing operators to control equipment safely and efficiently from a distance. Remote crane operators are responsible for lifting, moving, and placing materials on construction or industrial sites, ensuring safety protocols are followed. They require specialized training and certifications, as well as a strong understanding of both the equipment and remote control systems. This job can reduce onsite risks and increase flexibility for operators.
