EXCAVATOR/GRADALL OPERATOR

Position Summary: Branch's Civil Division is searching for an experienced and safety-oriented Excavator Operator to join our well-established, growing company. The Excavator Operator operates power shovel on which digger is pulled toward machine to excavate. All machines will be over ½ cubic yard.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Grades to line and grade
  • May service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment
  • Can operate on track or rubber tired and also included under this title will be gradall or wrist-o-twist type equipment
  • May complete minor repairs
  • Routine cleaning of equipment

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of construction techniques
  • 1 to 3 years of excavator operating experience
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • DOT experience preferred, but not required

Compensation Data:

Salary Min: $42,045.50 Salary Max: $70,110 Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position which will typically involve 40+ hours a week. Due to the nature of the job, the employee must be available on-call early/late hours to deal with delays, bad weather and emergencies at the job site.
