Litigation Paralegal, In-person, Hybrid, or Remote
Do you love digging into court cases and helping people? We're hiring an experienced legal secretary to assist our legal team in preparing legal documents, filing motions, reviewing legal documents, and keeping our firm's legal calendar. Applicants should be experienced in California civil litigation and highly organized professionals with great attention to detail. Responsibilities
• Court filings, preparation of discovery, and communication with court staff and staff for opposing counsel
• Prepare simple legal documents, correspondence, and judicial counsel form documents, subpoenas, deposition notices, pretrial orders, and affidavits, under the supervision of a lawyer
• Coordinate law office activity, including drafting subpoenas and coordinating with process servers
• Help lawyers prepare for trial by preparing and organizing exhibits, assisting with client meetings, filing motions, conducting research on legal articles, and organizing and coordinating witnesses
Qualifications
• At least 5 years of experience in a civil litigation law firm under the supervision of an attorney
• Excellent organizational skills, and time-management skills
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and talent for writing and grammar
