• Conduct in-depth assessments to understand clients' mental and emotional health needs.
• Evaluate individual clients' goals and issues to create tailored treatment plans that promote positive mental health outcomes.
• Facilitate individual and couples therapy sessions, focusing on enhancing relationships, resolving conflicts, and promoting effective communication.
• Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with clients, considering their unique circumstances and preferences.
• Regularly review treatment plans to monitor progress, making necessary adjustments based on evolving client needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, which may include other therapists, social workers, and healthcare professionals, to deliver comprehensive care to clients.
• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients facing acute distress or emergencies, implementing appropriate response strategies.
• Stay updated on the latest research, therapies, and best practices in marriage and family therapy to enhance service delivery.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities to refine skills and knowledge in the field.
• Promote self-care practices for clients while maintaining your emotional well-being to prevent burnout.

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, including teens, adults, and couples. The therapy sessions will address a wide range of mental health concerns, varying from everyday life challenges to more complex psychological issues. Our aim is to empower clients to improve their well-being through effective therapeutic techniques tailored to their specific needs and backgrounds.

• A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a closely related field is required.
• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist from the State Board is mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience providing individual and couples therapy across various age groups.
• Strong skills in assessment, documentation, and treatment planning are essential for this role.
• Exceptional communication and writing skills, with the ability to effectively utilize electronic health record systems.

• A background in working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and couples, is highly preferred.
• Experience in delivering therapy via remote platforms is advantageous as it maximizes patient engagement and accessibility.
