• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients experiencing mood disorders, assessing the intensity and frequency of symptoms.
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mental health issues.
• Guide and educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care techniques to enhance their understanding and well-being.
• Regularly monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical professionals, and other team members to ensure integrated care for clients.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.
• Maintain up-to-date, confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to foster continuous improvement.
• Advocate for clients, ensuring their needs are met and the stigma surrounding mental health is reduced.

In this role, you will primarily work with clients suffering from various mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will engage with diverse populations, including individuals experiencing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence, making your work impactful in the community. By providing compassionate care, you will help clients navigate their challenges and empower them towards recovery.

• Must possess an active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish a secure and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy and a nonjudgmental approach toward clients' experiences and struggles.
• Strong organizational skills and effective time management to balance client load and administrative responsibilities.

• Prior experience working with clients who have mood disorders or related mental health issues.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic methodologies and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Experience advocating for mental health awareness and working within diverse communities.

• Attractive salary range of USD 70,000 – 90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
