Job description

Position: Civil Construction Supervisor Location: Muleshoe, TX Contract Duration: 12+ Months Hourly Pay Rate: $71.00/hr. Per Diem: $178/day โ€“ 7-days per week Project Overview
  • Greenfield construction project installing five simple-cycle combustion turbines
  • Full site development including roads, concrete foundations, turbine installation, and supporting equipment
  • Construction Supervisor III resources will provide oversight and inspection of the EPC contractor
  • Inspections and verifications performed against drawings, specifications, and contract requirements
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide discipline-specific oversight of civil construction activities
  • Perform quality inspections using ArcGIS, Survey123, and standardized inspection templates
  • Verify EPC contractor work complies with contract and design requirements
  • Document inspection results and findings in Company systems
  • Participate in daily Plan of the Day (POD) meetings
  • Coordinate inspection readiness with the EPC contractor
Work Schedule & Location
  • Fully onsite at Tolk Station Facility โ€“ 970 County Road 65, Earth, TX 79031
  • Expected schedule: approximately 60 hours per week (10 hours/day, 6 days/week)
  • No remote work; rotation time off is supported
  • Project duration: approximately 2โ€“2.5 years, with strong likelihood of extension after 12 months for top performers
Safety & Work Environment
  • Active construction site โ€“ all PPE required (hard hat, safety glasses, high-visibility vest, safety-toed boots)
  • Short-sleeve shirts permitted; FR clothing not required at project start
  • One-time boot allowance provided
  • Additional PPE may be required as the site becomes energized
Required Qualifications
  • 7โ€“10 years of experience in civil construction oversight
  • Strong background in quality control inspections
  • Power plant experience (gas, coal, or similar) strongly preferred
  • Combustion turbine experience a plus, but not required
  • Experience with ArcGIS, Survey123, or Procore preferred
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and ability to pass a criminal background check
Per Diem & Travel
  • Per diem paid at GSA rates (approximately $1,246 per week), paid 7 days per week
  • $350 monthly travel stipend
  • Company-provided vehicle preferred (pickup or SUV; 4WD recommended). Vehicle and fuel expenses should not exceed $2,200 per month
  • Personal vehicles permitted for commuting only; not for onsite travel
