• Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to identify clients' mental health challenges, treatment goals, and progress.
• Facilitate one-on-one counseling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress management.
• Lead couples and family therapy sessions, navigating relationship dynamics, enhancing communication patterns, and resolving conflicts.
• Develop actionable and individualized treatment plans that encompass clear objectives, interventions, and measurable outcomes tailored to each client’s needs.
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, offering immediate support to clients facing urgent mental health issues.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, effective coping strategies, and available community resources.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes, adhering strictly to ethical standards and legal regulations.

You will work with a diverse clientele encompassing individuals from various backgrounds, including adults, couples, and families who are facing mental health challenges. Your role will specifically cater to clients dealing with a wide range of issues, such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma recovery, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. Through your guidance, clients will be empowered to find pathways toward emotional resilience and improved mental health.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited academic institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia.
• Proven clinical experience and competency in counseling, demonstrating effective therapeutic techniques.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills conducive to building rapport and trust with clients.
• A strong commitment to ethical practice, including adherence to confidentiality and informed consent standards.

• Experience in telehealth counseling practices or remote therapeutic services.
• Familiarity with specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
• Background working with trauma-informed care, and knowledge of trauma-specific interventions.
