• Conduct remote counseling sessions with individuals, couples, and families, utilizing HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platforms to ensure secure and confidential interactions.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health concerns, artfully developing personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances and goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed at addressing a wide spectrum of emotional, psychological, and behavioral issues faced by clients.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support, ensuring client safety while facilitating de-escalation strategies.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including progress notes and treatment plans, in compliance with legal standards and ethical practices.
• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, introducing coping strategies and resources that empower them to manage their mental health autonomously.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including medical professionals and community resources, to promote holistic care and comprehensive support systems for clients.
• Continuously engage in professional development, staying informed on advancements in the field of mental health counseling to ensure best practices are followed.

Our client base includes individuals across various demographics, including adults, adolescents, couples, and families. As a Mental Health Counselor at Back to Health Counseling Services, you will work primarily with clients who present a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma. Your expertise will help guide these individuals toward achieving their mental health objectives and improving their overall life satisfaction.

• Currently licensed as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida or eligible for licensure in the state of residency.
• Possess a master’s degree or higher in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience providing counseling services, demonstrating a robust understanding of therapeutic techniques.
• Experience in a remote counseling environment is highly desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and build rapport.
• Familiarity with telehealth technologies and platforms.
• Strong adherence to ethical counseling practices and commitment to confidentiality.
• A self-motivated individual who enjoys working autonomously while being a proactive team player.
• Willingness to adapt work hours to meet client needs, ensuring accessibility and convenience.

• Previous experience with crisis intervention and trauma-informed care approaches.
• In-depth knowledge of evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Familiarity with community resources and referral processes in mental health.

The salary range for this role is between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
