• Conduct thorough initial assessments of clients' mental health states and develop personalized treatment plans that address each client's unique needs.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions through our telehealth platform, offering guidance and strategies tailored to each client's circumstances.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care methods to promote positive change.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and recommend appropriate resources for clients facing acute mental health issues.
• Engage collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, case managers, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive treatment planning and coordination of care.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of all client interactions and treatment outcomes, complying with Tennessee state regulations and best practices in mental health record-keeping.
• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your therapeutic skills and stay informed about industry best practices.

Your work will primarily involve adolescents and adults facing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related conditions, and relationship challenges. As a remote counselor, you will have the opportunity to support clients from diverse backgrounds, understanding the unique factors that influence their mental health and providing culturally competent care to help them thrive.

• A valid and active LMHC license in Tennessee, in good standing.
• A bachelor's degree in mental health counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient psychiatric services or mental health settings, demonstrating effective client management.
• Proficiency in applying evidence-based therapeutic interventions and a commitment to ongoing professional growth in this area.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, fostering meaningful connections with clients and team members alike.

• Experience in remote counseling or teletherapy, adapting to the nuances of virtual sessions.
• Knowledge of local mental health resources and community support services available to clients in Tennessee.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth technology to facilitate seamless client interactions.
