• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, which include psychosocial evaluations and diagnostic interviews, to gain comprehensive insights into clients' needs.
• Collaborate closely with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that prioritize their unique circumstances, goals, and cultural backgrounds.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) in one-on-one, family, couple, and group settings.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention services, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and security for clients in acute distress.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, ensuring that treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries adhere to regulatory standards and clinic policies.
• Offer psychoeducation to clients and their families, equipping them with information and skills essential for managing mental health conditions.
• Engage in ongoing collaboration with a multidisciplinary team—including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers—to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Regularly conduct outcome assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of treatments and modify plans as necessary to optimize client outcomes.
• Stay updated on current research and best practices within the mental health field, integrating this knowledge into your clinical practice.
• Uphold the highest ethical standards, safeguarding patient confidentiality at all times.

Our clientele consists of individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those who have experienced trauma. As a mental health counselor, you will engage with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and other mental health disorders. Your role will have a direct impact on helping them navigate their challenges and fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship.

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Must possess a current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to connect with clients from varied cultural backgrounds.

• At least two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating effective therapeutic skills and techniques.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and remote counseling methods is beneficial.

• The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 84,000 based on experience, education, and skills.
