As a member of our products legal team, you'll help propel our forward-thinking and purpose-driven team as we advance our clients' missions. Reporting to the director, you'll serve as an attorney to provide legal guidance throughout product development, go to market, and transactional processes. You'll assist teams on strategizing ways to sell, create, or update license documents and assist in negotiation of Ts and Cs, participate in business team planning and regular status meetings, and work collaboratively within the broader enterprise operations team on addressing trends, challenges, and process improvements. Your support will be in the context of various customer bases, including commercial and international, and U.S. Federal Government agencies. You may also provide legal support to the transactional legal teams that support our broader services and solutions portfolio across defense, national security, and civil sectors.
You'll establish trusted partnerships across the company and collaborate with fellow members of the legal, ethics, and compliance team to protect and advance the company while navigating the complex, multifaceted, and often novel legal and compliance risks we face today. Guided by Booz Allen's purpose and values, together we'll anticipate and proactively prepare for the issues we'll encounter tomorrow. You Have:
  • 4+ years of experience practicing law in a law firm, corporate, or government environment
  • Experience with product and technology transactions in an in-house role, including go to market activities or strategies, and developing and negotiating product terms and conditions and associated agreements
  • Experience with federal procurement requirements such as FAR and DFARS, including FAR Part 12 acquisitions
  • Experience with commercial contract negotiation, including federal or non-federal, prime, and lower tier
  • Experience partnering closely with operational teams and business leaders to develop comprehensive strategies and approaches to bringing products to market
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to proactively identify, assess, and advise on product risk profiles, and design and implement practical legal and operational mitigation strategies or approaches
  • Ability to listen actively and ensure that the right questions are being asked and answered
  • Ability to translate legalese or regulations into succinct, clear, and workable business solutions
  • Ability to execute against clear goals, priorities, and success metrics or KPIs, and manage against program plans
  • J.D. degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with government contracting, including in a professional services setting
  • Experience with government contracts regulatory frameworks, including rules and considerations for post-government employment and competition or antitrust, organizational and personal conflicts of interest, or gifts or antikickback
  • Experience advising on AI governance or information security statutes, regulations, and compliance frameworks, including FISMA, DFARS, and NIST
  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $128,700.00 to $292,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
