Job description

About the Job

Mars Men is one of the fastest growing DTC brands in the US, achieving a $100M run rate in less than 18 months. Recently backed by L Catterton, Mars Men is positioned to become the leading men’s health brand in the supplement space. We operate across DTC, retail, and emerging channels, and are entering our next phase of growth as we continue scaling the business.

We are seeking a Performance Ad Video Editor to create high-performing video ads across paid social channels. You will work closely with our Creative Strategy, Growth, and Paid Media teams to turn briefs, creator footage, customer insights, and performance data into compelling ads designed to capture attention and drive conversion. This role is ideal for an editor who understands both strong storytelling and the pace of a high-volume, test-and-learn creative environment.

What You'll Do
  • Edit performance-driven video ads for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other paid media channels

  • Transform UGC, testimonials, product footage, voiceovers, and existing assets into compelling direct-response creative

  • Develop multiple hooks, openings, formats, and iterations to support ongoing creative testing

  • Partner with Creative Strategists to interpret briefs, apply performance learnings, and continuously improve the work

  • Use pacing, sound design, captions, motion graphics, and visual storytelling to strengthen engagement and conversion

  • Manage multiple projects and revisions while maintaining quality, speed, and brand consistency

  • Organize project files and creative assets to support an efficient, scalable production workflow

Must Have Requirements
  • 3–5 years of professional video editing experience, with a strong focus on paid social, performance marketing, or direct-response creative

  • A portfolio demonstrating high-performing short-form video ads, including UGC and other social-first formats

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and working knowledge of After Effects, CapCut, or comparable editing tools

  • Strong understanding of paid social creative principles, including hooks, pacing, retention, messaging, and calls to action

  • Experience using performance feedback and testing results to develop new edits and creative iterations

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage a high volume of work in a fast-moving environment

  • Experience using AI-assisted creative or editing tools to improve speed, variation, and production workflows is preferred

Life at Mars Men

  • Time Off – 15 PTO days per year (prorated), 9 company holidays, plus your birthday off
