Job description

Multimedia Developer

Our team members advance our mission and exemplify excellence, compassion, teamwork, and purpose in all that they do. Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Emergency Response Training team in the role of Multimedia Developer.

We are seeking a creative, technically sharp, and production-ready multimedia professional to join one of IU Health's most uniquely positioned teams. From shooting and editing video at IU Health conferences to building eLearning modules for Riley Hospital's continuing education programs and producing digital communications for clinical quality and safety initiatives, no two projects look the same. If you live in Adobe Creative Cloud, love the full arc of video production from planning to post, and want to do meaningful creative work in a healthcare environment, this is the role for you.

Key Relationships

Reports to: Manager - Emergency Response Education

Shift: Full time, Monday - Friday (hybrid/primarily remote)

Location: Indianapolis, IN

The Scope:

This role supports digital media production and clinical education content development across IU Health, including:

  • Planning, capturing, and editing video and audio content for clinical education, employee engagement, recruitment, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Attending and filming IU Health conferences and events, then editing footage into polished final productions
  • Producing continuing education video content for Riley Hospital and other system partners
  • Performing full post-production work - video editing, audio editing, color correction, and adding royalty-free music
  • Creating animated video storytelling and supporting AR/VR simulation development
  • Developing eLearning content using instructional design principles and SCORM-compliant authoring tools
  • Collaborating on scripts and storyboards from concept through final delivery
  • Maintaining team SharePoint and supporting digital content organization

Candidate Qualifications

  • Requires a working knowledge of learning management systems and SCORM.

  • Knowledge of instructional design principles and appropriate programming languages is required.

The "DNA" for Success

Adobe-Fluent: Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Audition, After Effects - these are your daily tools and you use them confidently and creatively.

Full-Cycle Producer: You're comfortable owning a project from planning and scripting through capture, editing, and final delivery - you don't just do one piece of the puzzle.

Creative & Storytelling-Minded: You think about how to make content engaging, not just technically correctly, you bring a storyteller's instinct to everything you produce.

Technically Grounded: You understand audio and video capture equipment, eLearning authoring tools, SCORM, and LMS environments.

Self-Directed: You thrive in a primarily remote, hybrid environment and manage your own project load with minimal oversight.

Adaptable: No two projects are the same. You shift gears easily and bring the same quality and energy to a Riley CE video as you do to an all-system engagement campaign.

Mission-Connected: You're motivated by the idea that your creative work helps healthcare professionals learn, connect, and deliver better care.
