Job description

The Reality of the Industry:

Most insurance agencies promise you the world, then hand you a list of 10-year-old aged internet leads and tell you to dial 300 times a day while paying you a 30% split.


We dont do that.


At The Cook Agency, we operate a high-volume, live-transfer closing matrix. We spend our own operating capital to purchase high-intent, $50 in-bound Live Transfers. The phone rings via our RingCentral network, a live prospect looking for a quote is on the line, and your only job is to take control and close the deal.


Lead Flow & Operational Hours:

As a 1099 contractor, you have the sovereignty to dictate your own schedule. However, to maximize your revenue, you need to be online when the capital is being deployed.


Our live transfer queue is actively routed between 0900 and 1700 CST, with the option to remain in the queue for extended volume until 1800 CST.


The live transfer matrix goes dark for a 1-hour operational blackout at 1200 CST every day.


If you want the agency-funded leads, you will want your headset on during these active routing blocks.


The Tiered Compensation Matrix:

We offer a highly aggressive, performance-based tiered commission structure. There is no base salary. You eat what you kill. The more you write, the higher your split becomes:


Tier 1 ($0 - $10k Premium): 40% Commission Split


Tier 2 ($10k - $20k Premium): 50% Commission Split


Tier 3 ($20k - $30k Premium): 60% Commission Split


Tier 4 ($30k - $40k Premium): 65% Commission Split


Tier 5 ($40k - $50k Premium): 70% Commission Split


The Vanguard Tier ($50k+ Premium): 75% Commission Split


Because we cover the expensive lead acquisition costs, we expect our agents to hit the Vanguard Tier. If you are a true closer, you will easily scale to the 75% threshold and make more here than anywhere else in the industry.

Responsibilities

Intercept & Bind: Answer inbound live transfers via our RingCentral queue with immediate authority and bind the P&C household.


The Cross-Sell: You must seamlessly pivot every P&C quote into a Life & Health (Medicare/Term Life) review to maximize household revenue.


Tech Efficiency: Operate rapidly within our quoting systems and utilize AgencyZoom to meticulously track your pipeline and automate your follow-ups.


Sovereignty: You log into the RingCentral queue when you are ready to take transfers, provided you respect the lead flow and maintain a high conversion rate.


Requirements

Active P&C and/or LAH Licenses (Must be licensed in at least one of our target states; multi-state preferred).


Must provide your own computer, dual monitors, and high-speed internet.


Absolute ruthlessness on the phone. You do not fear the objection.


Ability to survive and thrive on 100% commission. If you need a $40k base salary to feel safe, do not apply.
