Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Development (Data Centers), you will serve as a key member of the Thomson Power Systems commercial team. In this hands-on role, you'll drive the go-to-market sales strategy and develop our channel partnerships within the Data Centers vertical sector across the United States. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to join a dynamic sales team in a rapidly growing organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Independently develop and grow your vertical across the United States.
  • Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive go-to-market plan with support from the commercial leadership team.
  • Benefit from our streamlined operational structure that allows you to focus 100% on customer engagement and sales activities, supported by dedicated estimating, project management, and service execution teams.
  • Deliver integrated product and service solutions that foster continuous lifecycle relationships with end users, integrators, and contractors

  • Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships while expanding direct customer base

Required Education, Experience and Skills:

  • 5+ years of successful outside sales experience within the Data Center vertical sector
  • Proven track record of developing and executing strategic sales initiatives that delivered significant revenue and margin growth
  • Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites (up to 50% travel time) within your region.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship to obtain or keep U.S. work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the Power Management industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, or Electrical Engineering, or Power Engineering
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM
  • Demonstrated ability to be hands-on, resourceful, and results-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Reputation among peers as ambitious, energetic, self-sufficient, and highly motivated
  • Exceptional sales abilities with strong closing skills

Compensation Package to Include:

  • Target Salary Range: $135k - $170k per year

  • Target Bonus of 30%(potential 60% when exceeding targets)

  • Car Allowance

  • Uncapped Commission Component

The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for all statewide locations across the United States. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons.
