In this role, you will operate primarily from a climate-controlled remote setting, promoting flexibility while facilitating efficient patient care. • Conduct comprehensive assessments, evaluations, and diagnoses as necessary, utilizing clinical tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) to inform individualized care plans.
• Develop, implement, and monitor tailored treatment strategies in collaboration with patients and their families, ensuring that care plans align with cultural diversity and individual needs.
• Document all clinical activities and treatment records accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Facilitate regular progress assessments for patients and adjust treatment interventions as needed to promote mental health recovery.
• Coordinate referral options and maintain strong relationships with other healthcare providers and referral agencies to ensure seamless access to additional services.
• Provide mentorship and educational support to interns, residents, and students, enhancing the learning environment and contributing to the professional development of future clinicians.
• Engage in peer review and clinical collaboration with fellow team members to help improve overall service delivery and patient outcomes.

This role centers on serving individuals and families navigating the complexities of cancer care. Your expertise will be crucial in providing emotional support and therapeutic intervention to address a spectrum of mental health needs influenced by a cancer diagnosis. You will use evidence-based practices tailored to the unique psychological experiences of patients and their loved ones, thereby directly contributing to the improvement of their quality of life.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Prior experience working in a clinical setting, specifically with oncology patients, is advantageous but not required.

• Prior experience providing outpatient therapy, particularly in a community health clinic setting.
• Familiarity with working with diverse populations and understanding cultural competencies related to mental health care.
• A background in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
