REAL TIME CONSULTING (An RTCo Company)-POSITION DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Systems Engineer - Aircraft State
ABOUT THE JOB:
Be part of a team that is responsible for development, systems integration, and verification of core Aircraft State and/or Aircraft Systems monitoring and synoptics applications to be hosted on the Next Generation Avionics Platform.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of Aerospace Industry experience
  • Experience in avionics systems requirement development
  • Experience in avionics validation
  • Experience in avionics integration
  • Experience in avionics verification
  • Experience with model-based systems design
  • Experience working with sensors used for aircraft position and navigation (Air Data, AHRS, GPS, etc.)
  • Experience integrating or interfacing with aircraft systems (flaps, gear, cabin pressure, FADEC, etc.)
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Accountable and takes ownership of assigned tasks
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative to get things done
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
PREFERRED SKILLS:
