Purpose

As part of our acquisition of Musselwhite Mine, we are recruiting Underground Miners. This role will be based on-site and will be responsible for contributing their skills and knowledge to our ongoing development and growth. This role will report to the Production Supervisor and will be key to the success of the Mine Department.

Responsibilities include:

Operate 45 Ton Trucks

Operate Manual and Remote Scooptrams

Be an engaged and active member of a highly productive team

Take direction from the Productions Leaders and/or Underground Supervisors in a positive manner

Work in a safe and efficient manner at all times

Skills and Experience:

1-3 years of underground mining experience or previous experience operating heavy machinery.

Experience in mechanized mining would be considered an asset.

Ability to sit/drive for up to 12 hours daily.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Experience with Haul Trucks and Scooptrams (both Manual and Remote Control).

Possess Ontario Common Core Certification.

Working Conditions:

The schedule for this position will consist of 14 days on and 14 days off, 12 hours per day.


Compensation:

  • The base salary range for this position isCAD$104,248 - $139,292 per year, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.
  • The Company offers a Defined Contribution Pension Plan (DCPP), including an automatic 5% employer contribution, with the option for employees to receive up to an additional 4% employer match on employee contributions.
