Job description

BETA Systems International, LLC (BSI) is seeking experienced Contract Specialists II to support a federal agency within the Department of Health and Human Services with cradle-to-grave contracting functions.This position is contingent upon contract award.
Location: Primarily remote/contractor’s facility (no geographic restriction). Occasional travel to government facilities for badging/fingerprinting may be required. Travel will be fully reimbursed in accordance with federal travel regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform pre-award, solicitation, evaluation, award, and post-award contract activities.
• Draft and edit contract documents, prepare solicitation notices, and manage procurement files in compliance with FAR, HHSAR, and CDC policies.
• Support technical and past performance evaluations, price analysis, negotiations, and documentation of findings.
• Prepare and deliver required reports and digital procurement files.
• Maintain effective communication with government stakeholders and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least five (5) years of experience in cradle-to-grave federal contracting.
• Current or previous Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C) or civilian equivalent.
• Previous experience with Integrated Contracts Expert (ICE) system preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
Additional Requirements:
• All employment is contingent upon contract award.
• Must complete mandatory training upon onboarding and annually thereafter.
• Must provide a detailed resume demonstrating relevant experience and qualifications.
