Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Manager based in Netherlands.

This is a remote contract opportunity supporting integration and commercial technology initiatives across an international environment. You will play a key role in translating business objectives into clear, actionable requirements that enable successful technology delivery. The position involves working closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, architects, developers, integration teams, and external vendors. You will help shape processes, prioritize needs, and ensure solutions address real business challenges. From discovery and requirements gathering through testing and implementation, you will contribute to delivery quality and business readiness. The role is well suited to an experienced professional who enjoys connecting business needs with technology solutions in a collaborative setting.

Accountabilities
  • Lead the elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, and prioritization of business requirements for integration and commercial technology initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, challenges, and opportunities, translating them into actionable requirements.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, discovery sessions, and requirements review meetings to gather and refine business needs.
  • Create and maintain functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and business specifications.
  • Analyze current-state and future-state processes to identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and standardization.
  • Facilitate alignment between business teams, Product Owners, Solution Architects, developers, integration teams, and external vendors.
  • Support demand intake, business impact assessments, backlog refinement, prioritization, release planning, and solution evaluation.
  • Contribute to testing and user acceptance activities, ensuring requirements traceability, solution validation, and business readiness throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality documentation, including requirements, process maps, workflow diagrams, traceability matrices, UAT materials, and knowledge transfer documentation.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in project management, business analysis, or a similar technology delivery role.
  • Strong experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and prioritizing business requirements.
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong understanding of business process analysis, process mapping, workflow design, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience facilitating stakeholder interviews, workshops, discovery sessions, and requirements reviews.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Solution Architects, developers, integration teams, and external vendors.
  • Experience supporting backlog management, prioritization, release planning, solution evaluation, testing, and UAT activities.
  • Strong documentation skills, with experience producing process flows, business specifications, traceability matrices, and knowledge transfer materials.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote, international environment.
