Remote Contract Hospitality information

What is a remote contract hospitality professional?

A Remote Contract Hospitality job involves providing hospitality services, such as customer support, reservations, event planning, or administrative tasks, from a remote location rather than on-site. These roles are typically offered on a contract basis, meaning the work is temporary and may last for a set period or project. Common employers include hotels, resorts, travel companies, and event management firms seeking flexible staffing solutions. Remote hospitality professionals use digital tools to communicate, manage bookings, and ensure a positive guest experience from afar. This setup allows for greater flexibility and the ability to work from virtually anywhere.

How do remote contract hospitality professionals collaborate with on-site staff to ensure guest satisfaction?

Remote contract hospitality professionals often use digital tools and regular virtual meetings to maintain seamless communication with on-site teams. They coordinate tasks like reservations, guest inquiries, and operational support through platforms such as email, project management software, and video calls. Building strong relationships and setting clear expectations with on-site staff are crucial for addressing guest needs promptly and maintaining service quality. Proactive communication and establishing standardized procedures help bridge the gap between remote and in-person roles, ensuring guests receive a consistent and positive experience.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote contract hospitality professional?

To thrive as a Remote Contract Hospitality professional, you need a background in hospitality management, customer service expertise, and knowledge of industry standards, often supported by relevant experience or certifications. Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), reservation platforms, and communication tools like CRM software is typically required. Exceptional problem-solving, time management, and interpersonal communication skills distinguish top performers in this role. These competencies are vital for delivering seamless guest experiences, managing remote operations, and maintaining client satisfaction in a competitive hospitality market.

Job description

We are seeking a Business Development Manager (REMOTE) for a full time and direct hire role for one of our amazing partners in the United States. This role is remote, but you MUST be living in the United States and be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder. This role does NOT offer sponsorship, it's NOT a consulting role, and we do NOT work with 3rd parties!

Overview:

We're looking for an ambitious, results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive new revenue and expand presence in the managed Wi-Fi and network services market. You will identify and develop new opportunities, build strong relationships with key decision-makers and partners, and lead prospects through the full sales process from initial conversation through contract execution. You should be a consultative seller who understands networking technology, recurring revenue models, and complex B2B sales. You should be comfortable working with both technical and business stakeholders and have the ability to translate complicated technology into clear business value. This is a fast-paced environment where adaptability, creativity, curiosity, and a willingness to leverage AI and other technology to work more efficiently are highly valued.

In this role, success means consistently building a healthy pipeline, creating new customer relationships, closing meaningful recurring-revenue opportunities, and becoming a trusted resource for customers and partners. You'll work closely with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Sales Engineering to create solutions that deliver real value. We need a strategic thinker that is driven & accountable, and who is a strong relationship builder. You should be technology & AI savvy enough to be comfortable exploring and responsibly using AI-powered tools to streamline workflows, improve productivity, uncover opportunities, and find better ways to work. You need to be an adaptable problem solver that is highly organized, and an excellent communicator.

Responsibilities:

New Business & Revenue Growth

  • Identify, qualify, develop, and close new business opportunities.
  • Own the complete sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals.
  • Develop strategic account plans for high-value prospects and opportunities.
  • Pursue opportunities involving guest-facing high-speed internet, network infrastructure, orchestration, and related managed services.

Consultative & Solution Selling

  • Understand customer challenges, business objectives, and technical requirements.
  • Develop solutions that align technology with measurable customer outcomes.
  • Position managed Wi-Fi, network monitoring, analytics, security, and support services around business value rather than simply product features.
  • Work closely with Sales Engineering and Product teams on solution design, pricing, and proposals.
  • Clearly communicate ROI, operational improvements, and enhanced guest or user experiences.

Market & Partner Development

  • Establish and maintain relationships with channel partners, technology integrators, ISPs, PMS providers, and other strategic partners.
  • Identify opportunities within hospitality and other targeted vertical markets.
  • Develop new use cases and go-to-market opportunities.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, trade shows, customer meetings, and networking events.
  • Share customer and market insights with Product and Marketing to help shape future offerings and messaging.

Pipeline Management & Forecasting

  • Maintain accurate pipeline information, forecasts, and sales activity within the CRM.
  • Keep opportunities moving forward by clearly managing next steps, risks, timelines, and decision-makers.
  • Support pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and the transition of closed business to delivery and customer-facing teams.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of B2B sales or business development experience.
  • Background selling managed services, networking, SaaS, or other technology solutions preferred.
  • Experience selling into hospitality, multi-dwelling units, retail, healthcare, education, enterprise, or similar markets.
  • Demonstrated success closing complex, multi-location, or enterprise-level deals.
  • Strong understanding of managed Wi-Fi and networking concepts, including LAN/WAN environments, access points, controllers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Understanding of recurring revenue, subscription, and MRR-based business models.
  • Strong presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with guest Wi-Fi, captive portals, network analytics, or network security solutions.
  • Channel, reseller, or partner-led sales experience.
  • Familiarity with property management systems, IoT, or digital guest experience technologies.
  • Experience working for a high-growth or scaling technology company.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status. You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
