Technical Product Manager – Marketing Technology (Contract)

We are currently seeking a Technical Product Manager – Marketing Technology (MarTech) to support a consumer-focused organization in advancing and optimizing its marketing systems ecosystem.

Position Overview

The Technical Product Manager will own the strategy, roadmap, and continuous improvement of core marketing technology platforms. This role sits at the intersection of Marketing, Data, and Engineering and is responsible for ensuring that marketing systems support scalable personalization, automation, and measurable business outcomes.

The ideal candidate combines product ownership experience with technical fluency and a strong understanding of marketing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and manage the product roadmap for CRM, CDP, marketing automation, and related platforms

  • Translate business requirements into detailed product specifications and user stories

  • Prioritize initiatives based on business value, technical feasibility, and strategic alignment

  • Partner with engineering and data teams on system integrations, APIs, and architecture decisions

  • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to support campaign execution, segmentation, and personalization

  • Lead backlog management, sprint planning, and cross-functional alignment

  • Evaluate build vs. buy decisions and participate in vendor selection processes

  • Ensure systems align with data governance and privacy requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)

  • Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, or Marketing Systems roles

  • Hands-on experience with platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Adobe Experience Cloud, or similar marketing technologies

  • Experience working with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs)

  • Strong understanding of B2C marketing operations and campaign workflows

  • Experience working in Agile environments

  • Technical familiarity with APIs, integrations, and data models

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred
  • Experience leading CRM or CDP implementations or enhancements

  • Familiarity with SQL and JSON

  • Experience in consumer-facing or high-volume marketing environments

  • Ability to present roadmap updates and product strategy to senior leadership
